ARTIST SUBMISSION GUIDELINES ILLUSTRATION
Applicants should have a well-developed, unique style, a passion for their craft, a desire to work hard, and experience doing illustration on their own.
We do not represent scientific, technical or medical illustrators, hyper-realistic art, photographers, graphic designers, art directors, fine artists, storyboard artists, comic-book artists, or cartoonists.
We do not represent fantasy, sci-fi, cartoon, graffiti or pin-up illustration styles.
Special attention will be paid to illustrators seeking representation who are interested in illustration for publishing, whether their goal is to illustrate the work of other writers or write their own material.

‘Representation Request’ or similar must appear in the subject line, self-promo emails without a submission/representation request will be deleted.

Magnet Reps Literary procures publishing agreements exclusively for the talented artist-authors represented by the agency for illustration and art licensing.
We do not work with authors who are not also visual artists, representation as an illustrator or art brand is a prerequisite.
We specialize in the following genres:

MANUSCRIPT REVIEW FORM (PDF)
Manuscripts are reviewed ONLY if submitted by email with a signed and dated Manuscript Review Form, which can be downloaded HERE.
Manuscripts received without a signed review form will be deleted without review.
ARTIST SUBMISSION GUIDELINES ART LICENSING
Please visit our sister agency, The ARTelier of BRANDS, to get a sense of the types of art brands we represent.
Applicants should have a well developed, unique style, a basic understanding of how art licensing works, a desire to work hard, and experience creating artwork specifically for products. Strong repeat pattern skills and the ability to create product mock-ups are very important assets.
We do not represent fantasy, sci-fi, cartoon, graffiti or pin-up art brands.
